Great success for Tecnoblend and its brands at SIGEP 2018

Tecnoblend’s participation in the latest edition of SIGEP — the 39th International Trade Show for Artisan Gelato, Patisserie and Bakery — has successfully come to a close. An international event with an innovative format, bringing together gelato, patisserie, artisan bakery and coffee within a single, integrated platform. The event is exclusively dedicated to professional operators from around the world.
Attendance at the stand was excellent, with strong interest shown in the company’s flagship products: palm oil–free gelato, gluten-free and lactose-free gelato, vegan gelato, gelato with no added sugars, gelato for intolerances, organic gelato, gelato on a stick, soft-serve and frozen yoghurt concepts, as well as raw materials and patisserie solutions.
SIGEP 2018 closed with a record 209,135 total visitors, including 135,746 Italian buyers and 32,202 international buyers from 180 countries, alongside exhibitors, international competition contestants, competition teams, conference speakers and attendees, and participants in the academy areas.
International buyers came 77% from Europe (primarily Spain, Germany, France, Greece and Poland), 12% from Asia (Japan, Korea, China and India), 7% from the Americas (the United States, Canada and Brazil), 3% from Africa (Morocco, Algeria and Egypt), and 1% from Oceania (Australia).
